Saturday 1.30pm - 3.30pm - Introduction to assisting, observation , compassionate touch practice , the ethics of hands on assists and breath connection practices.
Saturday 4pm- 6pm - Assisting common standing postures, down dog and salutation demonstration and practice
Sunday 9am - 11am - Assisting common floor based postures, down dog and salutation demonstration and practice
12pm-2pm holding patterns and injuries, subtle body awareness , assisting more complex or advanced yoga postures such as wheel, handstand and forearm balance

This weekend training is designed for newly graduated yoga teachers as well as experienced teachers who wish to refine and up-level their assisting skills. You will develop the practical ability to read bodies with greater clarity, recognise habitual tension and movement patterns, and apply hands-on support in ways that are respectful, informed and responsive to pain and trauma.
