In-person Assisting and Adjusting for Yoga Teachers weekend workshop

Saturday 11th April and Sunday 12th April at YogaBellingen

Join us at YogaBellingen for Assisting and Adjusting for Yoga Teachers, a practical and thoughtful two-day immersion designed to build confidence and clarity in hands-on support. Across Saturday April 11th and Sunday April 12th, you’ll explore the foundations of skilful assisting — including observation, ethics, trauma-informed touch and breath connection — before moving into hands-on practice with common standing, floor-based and more advanced postures such as wheel, handstand and forearm balance. Led by senior yoga teacher Amelia Disspain alongside yoga therapist and physiotherapist Liz Bennett, this course offers a grounded, compassionate approach to touch that helps teachers support students with greater ease, safety and awareness. Through learning to recognise patterns of tension, work intelligently with injuries, and apply assists with care, you’ll gain tools to help students deepen their practice, build confidence and feel more at home in their bodies.
